Terms and Conditions
In the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health and safety of your dog. Dollybags will do whatever is appropriate for the well-being of all dogs whilst in their care. If the services of a vet are required, however,you the owner,authorize Dollybags to obtain vet treatment in the case of an incident or serious medical problem being discovered during grooming. The owner agrees that we are not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming and agrees to pay for all medical treatment incurred due to such.

We at Dollybags are not vets and any advice given regarding health problems should at all times be checked with a licensed vet.

CANCELLATIONS
At Dollybags we groom by appointment only. Any last minute cancellations can be difficult to fill and cause loss of business and loss of income. We therefore require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation. Failure to give this notice will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the FULL GROOM price. Failure to give the required notice on more than one occasion will require payment in advance before a new booking can be accepted. Please note this is a non-refundable payment should you fail to show for the subsequent appointment. Clients who repeatedly miss appointments will be removed from our client base. 

If clients arrive more than 15 minutes late, Dollybags cannot guarantee to keep your grooming appointment, if this is not possible then the cancellation fee WILL apply.

COLLECTIONS
Dollybags will give you either a pre-arranged time for collection or will text/telephone you when your dog is ready. Dollybags is a small salon and space is limited so we ask you to be prompt on collection. Prolonged visits can not only cause your dog unnecessary stress but can also be a potential hazard. Failure to collect within 30 minutes of our notification to you (without prior arrangement) will result in a boarding fee of £5 per hour or part thereof. The same fee is also payable if you drop your dog off earlier than 15 minutes before their appointment.

TOILETING
Please ensure your dog has had suitable exercise and a chance to empty their bladder/bowels before visiting Dollybags. Please refrain from letting your dog foul inside or outside the studio or in the car park. If your dog has an accident PLEASE BAG IT AND TAKE IT AWAY WITH YOU.

BITCHES IN SEASON
Dollybags is a small salon and we prefer NOT to groom bitches in season. Behaviour and coats can change dramatically with hormone levels and can lead to a stressful visit.

MATTED DOGS
Dollybags abides by the Animal Welfare Act 2007 section 5 wherein it states that "all animals are to be protected from pain, injury, suffering and disease". Dematting can be extremely painful and consequently Dollybags refuses to dematt dogs. Any dog that cannot be groomed out in the recommended 20 minute maximum groom time will be clipped off. Clients will be charged extra for this service due to the wear and tear on equipment.

FLEAS
Any dog with fleas will incur an extra charge of £5. Persistent offenders will be refused.

AGGRESSIVE DOGS
Dollybags reserve the right to refuse any dog due to bad behaviour. Please advise of any issues at time of booking. We DO NOT groom sedated dogs. Should your dogs behaviour place either itself  or the groomer in any danger, then the groom will be stopped, you will be required to collect your dog IMMEDIATELY and the full cost of the groom will apply.

PRICES
All prices quoted are for dogs that are regularly groomed at home with coats in good condition, matt free and well behaved.

NEW CUSTOMERS
From Jan 1st 2012 all new bookings made will require a £15 non-refundable deposit taken at the time of booking. You may also be asked to bring your dog for an assessment before a booking is made. This enables us to meet you and your dog before grooming to discuss your requirements.
